Girls' Generation's Sunny and Kim Chung Ha discussed the stress of idol life on the September 7th episode of 'Real Life Men and Women 2'.
The four female members gathered together to talk and drink, and Kim Chung Ha expressed, "When I was working on my album receive, I felt that I was getting indigestion easily. As I was preparing for a solo album, I felt a lot of pressure. The fact that I had to do it all alone made me have a mental breakdown."
When Sunny was asked about when she had a hard time, she revealed, "I don't know solitude or loneliness very well. I actually like laying by myself. Rather than having a hard time mentally, my body is physically in pain. Since I use my body a lot, all my joints hurt."
Fellow cast member Han Eun Jung also commented, "For me, there's an aspect of loneliness as I work in the entertainment world. There are a lot of people who appreciate me, but there are times I wonder, 'Why did I decide to do this?' When that happens, I drink."
