Ahead of the full airing of 'Idol Room' on August 21, JTBC revealed a pre-release clip of Jung Hyung Don and Defconn meeting up with J.Y. Park before greeting the guests of this week's episode - Stray Kids.
J.Y. Park revealed that he feels apologetic toward Stray Kids in some ways, and when asked why, he explained, "Usually when we make new teams, we think very carefully about each member of the group and have numerous team meetings. But for this team, I told the leader, 'You try to form this team'. And then at the end, there was a girl group team that my team made, and his team, and they had a final evaluation. The boys team won the evaluation, earning the chance to debut. If they had seemed unprepared in my eyes, I would not have allowed their debut."
Furthermore, J.Y. Park added, "This is the first group where I'm awkward with them, and they're awkward with me." With the introductions all wrapped up, J.Y. Park, Jung Hyung Don, and Defconn finally headed to the 'Bobby Brown' room (the red practice room) to meet Stray Kids! When Stray Kids greeted the three with their team greeting, J.Y. Park revealed, "I never got to talk with them before their debut, except for with Chan."
Finally, Jung Hyung Don asked J.Y. Park, "Which member do you feel the most awkward with?" If you want to know his answer, you'll have to tune into the full episode of this week's 'Idol Room'!
