EXID's Solji and Hani chatted about the group's impending comeback during 'Solji's Voice Season 2' VLive broadcast on August 15.
After facing health problems and undergoing surgery for thyroid issues, Solji was finally able to join EXID for their Japanese debut with "Up & Down", and she sat down with fans to talk about her plans with member Hani. The two discussed their unit group Dasoni, saying, "At the time, our outfits were traditional Chinese dresses. They were hard to pull off."
Hani added, "When I was promoting as part of Dasoni, I'd gained a lot of weight. There was a part where Solji stood behind me, and my body hid hers too well." She then revealed fans should look forward to EXID making a comeback as a full group.
Solji expressed, "It was a lot of fun doing this show for 7 weeks. Now it won't just be my speaking voice you hear, but my singing voice as well. I was really sorry for making our fans wait for so long, but I'm excited to see everyone again. If you wait a little longer, we'll return with a great performance to show you."
