Seungri opened up about his solo promotions in 'High Cut'.
The maknae of Big Bang has been actively promoting solo following his fellow members' military enlistment. And just recently, Seungri dropped his 1st solo album 'The Great Seungri'. Regarding the new release, Seungri said, "It's an album that depicts the hidden talents that I couldn't express in Big Bang."
He further explained, "Have you seen the movie 'The Great Gatsby'? It's not just a joyful party movie as it seems. In order to get his love Daisy back, he worked so hard and opened parties. He got himself known and prepared everything but he wasn't able to get Daisy back in the end. Everyone has their own story."
Seungri continued, "Just look at Basquiat. Music or art, the public will be able to relate if there's pain. As many people think, this album does include Seungri the partier, the bright person that makes people happy, but it also contains the pain and sufferings I have kept inside."
More of Seungri's sincere interview and photos can be found in the 225 issue of 'High Cut'.
