Singer Paul Kim put an agency head on blast for threatening him and the folks at his own label Neuron Music.
On July 4, Paul Kim shared an Instagram story recounting what occurred between an unnamed agency head and a rep at Neuron Music. He explained he received an offer to record an OST that had to be completed by the end of the month, but he refused and was threatened.
The singer stated, "I received an offer to record an OST by the end of July, but I turned it down because I didn't have time between a concert and other things in my schedule. Then the head of that agency called my chief and threatened us saying how he's been a manager for 25 years and how many people he knows compares to us."
Paul continued, "It's not just simple abuse of power or bullying, and I can't believe he threatened a person's career and livelihood like that. Thinking about how this probably happens all the time, I can't help but feel I want to raise the strength of myself and my company. You know who you are, and I hope you live carefully in the future."
He concluded, "My agency and people around me say it's not good to post things like this when I'm emotional. However, I'm not in the wrong, so I don't know why I can't express things like this and hold myself back? If people like me can't speak up, then how many more people who are weak have to live life unfairly. I can't live like that. It's unfair, and I'm angry."
