Lee Kuk Ju�expressed frustration about the prejudice against overweight women.
On the July 6 episode of TV Chosun's 'There's A Reason Why Women Get Mad', the panelists held a discussion about diets.�
During the talk, Lee Kuk Ju said, "Words become painful. People tell comedian�Kim Ji Min�that she's an actress type but to me, they say 'Kuk Ju is healthy'. It's not that I get upset but I wonder if they're indirectly pressuring me to lose weight."

She also shared, "When I date a handsome guy, people ask, 'You spend a lot of money, don't you?' Why do we (overweight women) have to hear these comments when people never say anything to a pretty girl dating a normal guy?"
