Jiyoung discussed her relationship with her former KARA members!
Jiyoung has been focusing on her acting career in Japan since she left KARA in 2014, and at the '22nd Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival' interview for her film 'Killer, Her', she revealed the members all still stay in touch. She expressed, "We all still get along very well, and we still have a group chat room. It's been a while since we met up because we're all so busy, but we've consistently stayed in contact."
When asked about their response to her acting debut in Japan, Jiyoung said, "They kept telling me how proud they are. Gyuri's nickname for me is 'baby', and she said, 'Baby, you're so impressive.' It felt great hearing that from her." She further revealed she meets up with Hara in Japan, saying, "She'll tell me what hotel she's staying at, and I'll go to hang out."
As for her growing solo singing career and concert last year, she said, "It taught me just how different it is to be on your own rather than with the other members. I found it difficult to put in so much energy all alone. When I'm singing, it makes me miss the other members more."
