A man went missing after making reports about his wife.
According to the Jeollabuk-do Police Agency on June 20, around 1 am, a 26-year-old woman fell from the 12th floor of her apartment building. She is in serious condition with major injuries all over her body. The paramedics claim the woman was able to survive due to the tree branches that got in the way of her fall.
Her 34-year-old husband called the police to make the report on his wife. He then left the apartment and drove off towards Gimje.
The police, who found the husband suspicious, attempted to reach him. After multiple calls, the husband answered and stated, "I tried to kill myself in a car accident but it's not working out."
The police have found the husband's car in Gimje, but the driver was nowhere to be found. The investigation is currently ongoing. The police stated, "We have yet to figure out the reason behind the wife's fall and the husband's whereabouts. First, we are focusing on finding the husband."
