Jihyun opened up about her life after 4minute�in '@star1'.
In an interview with the magazine, Jihyun shared, "I really had a hard time for a year after 4minute disbanded. I was afraid of meeting people so I avoided going out for a month. I felt empty at how the 7 years disappeared all at once but I got myself together, telling myself that I'm Jihyun of 4minute."
When asked if she misses going on stage, Jihyun said, "I loved performing when I was a singer but I received much love and created many precious memories throughout the 7 years so I don't have any regrets now."
Jihyun named Seo Hyun Jin�and Jung Rye Won�as her role models. She explained, "I look up to them a lot because they walked similar paths as me. I gain confidence watching Seo Hyun Jin and Rye Won sunbaenim who are formerly girl group members."
