Hyoyeon got honest about her position in Girls' Generation.
On the June 1 airing of JTBC4's 'Secret Unnie', Hyoyeon and MAMAMOO's Whee Inlooked back on their debut days.
Hyoyeon said, "I had a long training period so I had big dreams of making my debut. So I cried a lot when I finally did."
She continued, "I used to think I was the best before debuting but after I debuted, my company hadYoonA, who's tall and has the visuals, in the center of the picture."
Hyoyeon admitted, "At the time, it was hard to accept the fact that I wasn't the center. So I had a hard time but then I realized that people will recognize me even if I'm standing on the side."
