On May 23, Hwang Hana posted to Instagram, "The weather is amazing. KakaoTalk chats fabricated and Instagram DMs fabricated by photoshop, and further, by computer photoshop. (Wow~ I had no idea you could photoshop an Instagram ID and photo so similarly like that. An unni I'm close to had the same thing happen to her a few years ago and even fought with her friend about it. They later found out what happened.) It seems like they have enough time on their hands to make it so precisely. You're impressive. I'm going to find you all and reveal you. You messed up when you tried to copy how I talk though. You're all impressive~~ You thought I was staying quiet because I'm dumb. I have everything. It's just that I don't have malice, and I think it's just talk that floats around online."

She concluded by saying she had the resources to defend herself and her close friends and family don't even believe the photoshopped posts and messages. Hwang Hana also stated she wishes to meet the perpetrators and reveal them for who they are.
