YG Entertainment has released an official statement on Big Bang Daesung's recent hospitalization.
It was belatedly reported Daesung had been hospitalized during his military enlistment, but no further information was released due to patient privacy. On May 23, a rep from YG Entertainment stated, "Big Bang's Daesung was recently hospitalized at the Army Hospital due to laryngitis. He was discharged after 2 days and has already returned to his base."
The rep assured fans, saying, "It's not to the extent to be deeply concerned about, and his condition is currently improving."
Daesung enlisted for his mandatory military service this past March 13.
