Religous cult 'Salvation Sect' denied J.Y. Park's involvement in their religion.
On May 2, an authoritative figure in 'Salvation Sect' stated to media outlet Seoul Shimun, "The service mentioned in the report has nothing to do with our religion. The believers of our religion can freely attend other gatherings. The gospel is only similar since its based on the words of the bible."
The rep also stated, "J.Y. Park is not officially a believer (of our religion)," and explained J.Y. Park has never attended or gave offerings to the church.
Prior to this, J.Y. Park personally responded to the issue with a strong denial.
