Last month, Maximite was reported to have assaulted his ex-girlfriend on multiple occasions throughout their relationship. The DJ is also under investigation for marijuana use.

DJ Maximite has now released an official apology through his agency stating:

"My thoughtless actions have caused a disturbance, and they've been a great disappointment and cause of worry to my fans. I want to sincerely apologize. I'm currently reflecting on my actions, and I'm fully cooperating with all investigations. I'll accept the results. I was planning to apologize after the investigation was closed, but I believed I should release a statement now as there's continuing coverage of the situation. I'm ashamed, and I resent myself. I'm deeply reflecting on my actions. I'll cooperate fully without any lies, and I'm ready to accept the outcome. I sincerely apologize and ask for your understanding."
