The 'Water Rage' Korean Air sister Cho Hyun Min might be facing permanent deportation from South Korea.
Currently, Cho Hyun Min, the former executive of Korean Air and also the daughter of Korea Air's CEO, is under investigation for physical assault, obstruction of business, and smuggling.
In 1983, Cho Hyun Min was born in Hawaii. As a result, she had dual citizenship in both the United States and South Korea. However, she gave up her South Korean citizenship as an adult. She is currently residing in South Korea with an F-4 visa, which is given to residents whose parents or step-parents are Korean. The visa expires every 3 years but is relatively easy to renew.
If found guilty of any of the charges against her, Cho Hyun Min is in danger of losing the visa and permanent deportation, similar to singer Yoo Seung Joon, for causing disruption in society.
Cho Hyun Min is scheduled to attend the investigation on May 11.
