Katie Kim has left YG Entertainment.
Katie Kim was the winner of 'K-Pop Star 4' back in 2015, and she signed with YG Entertainment. However, after she signed with the label, she had done basically nothing except appear as a guest on 'K-Pop Star 5' and then once during iKON's Japanese concert at the end of last year, and now it's been revealed that she's left the label.
After hearing that Katie Kim had ultimately left YG Entertainment after the label had basically done nothing for her, netizens are furious. This isn't the first time that an audition winner that had originally signed with YG Entertainment left the label. 'K-Pop Star 6's Park Hyun Jin had also left the label, and recently, the 'MIXNINE' winners' debut had been canceled due to YG Entertainment changing the original contract.
