IU files lawsuit against malicious commenters

In April, we had let you know that our label was continuously monitoring and preparing a legal response toward malicious rumors, attacks of character, and sexually harassing comments toward our label artist IU.

We used the data that fans sent us as well as our label's legal team's data from monitoring and gathered information about malicious, repeated cases. On May 9th, 2018, we filed a lawsuit on defamation to the Seoul Gangnam Police Distrcit through our legal firm Minsan.

We are additionally letting you know that we will be taking strict legal action and wil not have any negotiations with the writers of the post.

Additionally, the cases filed in May are only a part of the data gathered and reviewed by our label, and we are continuously preparing additional suits against those spreading rumors, attacking character, and sexually harassing our label artist.

We will continue to do our best to legally protect our label artist.
