24K is the only idol group on the ousted President Park Geun Hye's blacklist.
The blacklist is a list compiled by the Park Geun Hye administration. A total of 9,773 figures including politicians, celebrities, social activists, and more are listed as causing "threat and dangers" to the government and society.
The members of 24K are the only idol group found on the blacklist. Regarding this, 24K's agency commented, "We think they are on the list because around their debut in 2012, the members took part in the campaign for Moon Jae In, who was a presidential candidate at the time."
The agency also shared, "It's true that we weren't able to appear on certain broadcasts, most likely because of the blacklist."
Meanwhile, the boy group is scheduled to make their comeback in May with the new member Kiyong.
