The report claims that the two met through acquaintances last year before becoming a couple. However, when they were both cast in the JTBC drama, they decided not to let their relationship be known, for fear of affecting the drama in a negative way. As a result, during the drama's preparation stages, not even the staff or their fellow actors knew about Lee Yi Kyung and Jung In Sun's relationship, the report said.
In 'Welcome to Waikiki', Lee Yi Kyung plays a 4-dimensional rookie actor named Lee Jun Ki, and Jung In Sun plays the role of a lovely and clumsy woman, Han Yoon Ah. However, in the production, Jung In Sun's character is involved in a loveline with another actor Kim Jung Hyun, while Lee Yi Kyung's character is involved in a loveline with actress Go Won Hee. The dating rumors, as a result, are coming as a shock to many fans of 'Welcome to Waikiki'.
Shortly after the exclusive report, Lee Yi Kyung's label HB Entertainment admitted to the claims, and Jung In Sun's label C-Jes did the same. Meanwhile, the final episode of 'Welcome to Waikiki' is set to air on April 17 at 11 PM KST.
