The press office of the Korean Military Manpower Administration has officially responded to reports of G-Dragon's assignment after basic training.
Earlier reports alleged G-Dragon had been assigned as an army instructor assistant for his 3rd division unit, the White Skull division, after he finished up his basic military training with exemplary marks. However, a rep from the army's press office stated, "Soldier Kwon Ji Yong has not been considered to become an instructor's assistant of the 3rd infantry division. His final assignment is as a regular soldier in a unit under the 3rd infantry division."
The rep further added, "He finished his military training completion ceremony today, and he'll be transferred sometime tomorrow."
In related news, G-Dragon enlisted in the military on February 27, and he's set to be discharged on November 26, 2019.
