2AM's Seulong re-assigned from active duty to reservist status due to worsening rib disorder symptoms

On April 6, Seulong's label SidusHQ confirmed to news outlets that the singer/actor has been switched to reservist status. Seulong enlisted in the military back on November 28 of last year in the ROK army's 3rd division located in Cheorwon, Gangwon province. However, during his military service, Seulong discovered that symptoms from a rare rib disorder worsened due to physical exertion. He was called in for a reevaluation of his health, and the army ultimately determined that it would be difficult for Seulong to continue as an active duty soldier. 

Seulong was diagnosed with his rare rib disorder before making his debut as a singer. Also called 12th rib syndrome, the disorder requires consistent medical treatment, and Seulong has been receiving regular treatment for the past 7 years. 

The singer/actor is now awaiting his re-assignment to a new position. His label said, "He feels apologetic for not being able to finish his mandatory service in good health. He will do his best for the remainder of his service."
