According to the police, 'A' punched and strangled a flight attendant on Air Busan at Gimhae International Airport. 

The man asked the flight attendant to put his carrier and coat in the overhead bin for him. While taking the coat from him, the flight attendant accidentally scratched 'A's hand. She immediately apologized and walked away.

However, when the flight attendant was making safety announcements, 'A' suddenly stood up and punched the flight attendant's left arm and strangled her. The violent scene was reported to the pilot and the plane was turned back. 'A' was arrested when the plane landed back at Gimhae International Airport.

A rep of Air Busan stated, "The man's nationality is Korean but he seemed to be Korean-American who doesn't know much Korean. The flight attendant apologized but he suddenly acted up."

The issue has been transferred to Busan Gangseo Police Station and the man is being investigated. 

Meanwhile, the incident caused a 50-minute delay for the 180 passengers on board.
