It was recently announced that the two MCs of the globally popular show, 'Weekly Idol', will be leaving the program, shocking many viewers and fans. After the news broke out, Kim Jin PD took to her Twitter page to leave her honest feelings.
She wrote, "It's very saddening that I'll no longer be part of 'Weekly Idol', a show that's been part of me for the past 7 years. We writers/producers as well as the MCs would like to thank all the idol fans who showed love and support for 'Weekly Idol' up to now."
Kim PD finished by thanking Jung Hyung Don and Defconn for the great work they've done on the show, "It feels like it was only yesterday when we had the MC meeting but before we knew it, we're already yelling 'Weekly Idol' for the 7th year. Thank you, Doni and Coni, who've always trusted and cheered on us producers/writers. Thank you very much~"
Following the two original MCs' leave, 'Weekly Idol' will be undergoing a revamp.
