After releasing their 2nd Japanese single on February 7, the girls managed to sell over 250,000 copies already in just 5 days.
By selling such a huge number, TWICE surpassed their old record of "One More Time" which sold just over 190,000 copies on their fifth day. As they achieve such an amazing feat, "Candy Pop" has gone platinum - although they will officially get certified by the RIAJ, or Recording Industry Association of Japan in March after the February certifications are released then.
Congratulations, TWICE!
