On January 3, tvN released an official announcement to news outlets stating that the press conference for upcoming variety show 'Youn's Kitchen 2', scheduled for January 4 at 2PM KST, has been canceled.

The broadcasting station gave no specific reason as to why the press conference was canceled other than, "It was canceled due to unavoidable circumstances." However, the 'V Live' broadcast with the show's cast including Yoon Yeo Jung, Lee Seo Jin, Jung Yoo Mi, Park Seo Joon, Na Young Suk PD, Lee Jin Joo PD, and scriptwriter Kim Dae Joo, will still air as scheduled on January 4 at 1PM KST, just an hour before the planned press conference.
The media suspects that the grave staff injury on the set of tvN's 'Hwayugi' is behind the sudden cancelation. Previously, Korea's National Union of Mediaworkers announced a press conference regarding an update on the staff member's fall accident, for this exact time, on January 4 at 2PM KST.
Reportedly, the labor union will reveal a summary of their inspections and research on the drama set during this upcoming press conference, as well as footage taken during the event. Stay tuned for updates.
