Momoland's JooE shared thoughts about the criticism on her looks.
On January 3, Momoland held a showcase for their new mini album 'Great!' at Muse Live in Seoul.
At the event, JooE gave thoughts on netizens' criticism on her visuals. The idol stated, "Of course, it's difficult and upsetting to me. But I wouldn't have chosen this job if I couldn't overcome it." JooE emphasized she doesn't mind it very much due to her optimistic personality.
She continued, "I believe there is no standard in beauty. If one is satisfied then that's enough." JooE added, "When I first started gaining attention, it was hard because people called me a 'selca liar' (criticizing how my selfies were too photoshopped). But in a way, I'm glad because I started gaining attention because of it."
