On January 18, a press conference was held inside Seoul's Imperial Palace for tvN's 'Mother'.� Lee Bo Young commented, "I played the role of a mother in 'God's Gift', and I selected the particular project because it had an interesting plot, not necessarily because I was drawn to the maternal aspect of the story."

She continued, "As for 'Mother' I chose to act in it after I had my child.� And during that 1-year span, I read numerous reports of child abuse, which caught my attention.� After hearing about such cases or news about a child being neglected, I decided to work on this project."
"And I thought people should become more aware of such societal issues.� Ultimately, I didn't decide on this drama for the viewer's ratings but because I felt responsible as a mother of a child myself," said Lee Bo Young boldly.�With that, the actress shed tears, suddenly moved by her own emotions and passion.
The first episode of 'Mother' will be premiering on January 24.
