BoA has revealed what started her stage fright on 'Knowing Brothers'.

On the January 20th installment of 'Knowing Brothers', BoA featured as a guest, and during the Q&A segment, she revealed the story behind her stage fright. She said, "At that time, there weren't any live artists in our country. I wasn't ready to sing live, so I completely messed up my first performance."

BoA continued, "After messing up my performance in Japan, I developed a fear of the stage, and it's still really bad now. Standing on stage is the scariest thing for me. After failing my live performance though, I began to practice hard. I ran on the running machine/treadmills to practice singing, and I practiced singing during choreography practice."
