It has come to light that a London-based artist Dom Sebastian has accused Katy Perry and SF9 of stealing his artwork from his 2012 Holographic Melt Series for their respective album covers.
A few days ago, the artist uploaded a side-by-side photo of his own work and Katy Perry's "Chained To The Rhythm" single cover for a comparison. Since then, Dom Sebastian took to his Instagram page to upload another post featuring his own work once again with a photo of SF9's 2nd mini album 'Breaking Sensation' which was released last year, next to it for a close comparison. Dom Sebastian wrote, "another one - Kpop band @SF9official /their record label have also stolen and used as their album artwork . This album has over 4 million streams on @spotify alone. Again, no contact from them or their record label."
