On January 11, tvN's 'Life Bar' welcomed actor Kwak Do Won to the show, where he discussed his latest film 'Steel Rain'.
During his chat, Kwak Do Won shared the behind story of how G-Dragon's solo song "Crooked" was used in the film. MC Shin Dong Yup began, "I was impressed by how you sang along to G-Dragon's 'Crooked'. I thought, 'He really did try hard.'" Kwak Do Won responded, "I was also invited to Big Bang's concert in light of the film."
He then added, "Originally, we were supposed to include Big Bang's 'Fantastic Baby' instead of 'Crooked... [But] Chul Woo's character from the North (played by Jung Woo Sung) is someone who divorced already, so it didn't seem right for him to like that particular song."
"'Crooked' though, is an easy listen for men in their mid-40s and is a fun track to sing while eating and going out for drinks. So we were determined to receive the rights to use the song in the movie. And Yang Hyun Suk hyung gladly granted our wish."
