SM Entertainment�denied that Onew's apology was because of the season's greetings.
Some SHINee fans had recently decided�to boycott the season's greetings because of Onew's inclusion in the set. Onew has recently apologized for the incident, but the apology had not been too well received because some thought it was incredibly late and too coincidental of a timing with the boycott.
However, SM denied the relation and said, "The reason why he wrote an apology after 4 months is not because of the boycott around the season's greetings. It contains his suffering until now."
