Shin Hyun Joon's SNS reaction comes from an online post which has been garnering netizens' attention recently, titled "How to break through Sweden". Recently, South Korea's national soccer team was placed in Group F for the upcoming '2018 FIFA World Cup' that will take place in Russia. Korea will be matched up against three soccer powerhouses - Germany, Mexico, and Sweden.
The possibility of South Korea advancing from Group F against such powerhouses seemed so bleak for netizens, that one netizen posted, "If we put Shin Hyun Joon in the national team, the Sweden guys will think he's Zlatan and pass the ball to him; it's the only way."

The Zlatan mentioned above is famous Swedish soccer player Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He has often been coined as Shin Hyun Joon's look-alike. When Shin Hyun Joon saw the post about him joining the national team online, he took to his Instagram and shared the post, with the caption, "If the people of my nation want it.. I will join the national team. #Should I grow my hair out again.. #ShinHyunJoon #ZlatanIbrahimovic #2018FIFAWORLDCUPRUSSIA."
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is actually retired from the Swedish national soccer team, but some sports outlets recently reported that the veteran player may return to play for the '2018 FIFA World Cup'.
Do you think the strategy will work? Regardless, good luck to all the national teams at the '2018 FIFA World Cup'!
