During the show, Jung Hyung Don asked why Tiger JK decided to keep his hair long. Tiger JK answered, "There was actually a reason for why I grew out my hair. My father passed away 4 years ago from cancer. After receiving the cancer diagnosis, I spent a lot of time with my father while he struggled/fought against cancer. The only thing I had left from the time I spent with him during the time was my hair. That's why I decided not to cut my hair and continued to grow it out."

He continued, "But now, I realized that things like this are only symbolic and don't need to hold onto it, and decided it's time for me to get a haircut. I decided on it today while being on the show because it helped me heal."
