High school swimmers save a woman trapped in a sinking car

A woman struggled for life as she was trapped in a sinking car in a lake. Passerbys stood anxiously while watching the scene from afar. 

Fortunately, rescue came on time, not by the emergency crew or the police but by a group of teens. 

The heroic figures behind the life-saving moment revealed to be Choi Tae Joon, Kim Ji Soo, and Sung Joon Yong, who are swimmers at Gangwon Physical Education High School.

In the interview, Choi Tae Joon stated, "People were just standing there and taking videos. We're athletes and learned how to swim so we've got the courage (to jump in the lake). Kim Ji Soo added, "I think we jumped in right away since someone's life is on the line." When asked if they weren't cold, he replied, "It was freezing."

In reaction to their courageous act, netizens are sending out much praise and applause, commenting, "They deserve a medal."
