On October 27, 'The Seoul Awards' took place at Kyung Hee University's Grand Peace Palace. At the ceremony, T-ara's Eunjung appeared on stage as the award presenter and stated, "Kang Daniel was unable to participate due to the heavy traffic." The announcement made it seem like the Wanna One member was unable to fulfill his duty as the presenter due to tardiness.

Regarding this, YMC Entertainment expressed frustration to Xports News and revealed, "It's true that Kang Daniel and other Wanna One members attended the event for the congratulatory performance. However, Kang Daniel presenting an award was not discussed ahead of time. Right before the event, the organizers asked if Kang Daniel can be an award presenter. We clearly delivered our inability to do so due to his schedule. We only had the time for the congratulatory performance. It's unfortunate how it was shown as if Kang Daniel's tardiness and wrongdoings have led to disruption in the event."
It's confirmed that Wanna One went on stage at 'The Seoul Awards' for the congratulatory performance and immediately left afterward to attend ad filming.
Currently, netizens are criticizing organizers of 'The Seoul Awards' for their unprofessionalism and causing misunderstandings with Kang Daniel.
