Rain revealed why he rejected offers to judge on audition shows before 'The Unit'.
On the October 28 premiere of the idol rebooting program, Rain talked about his own past as an idol when he was in the boy group Fanclub, saying, "That group wasn't successful. I had a rough time after the group disbanded."
He then shared, "I've received offers to judge on audition programs since 3, 4 years ago. One of my basic principles is to not judge others. That's why I rejected them, but after hearing the producers out, 'The Unit' seemed like it would help people."
Rain concluded, "'The Unit' isn't a place to judge artists, but it's a stage for people who've experienced failure to show their potential."
