On October 2, Choeun Entertainment made an announcement on 24K's official fan cafe stating the group's involvement and decision to appear on YG Entertainment's survival program.

The statement reads:

"Hello,

Here is Choeun Entertainment.

First of all we would like to congratulate everyone and to with you a pleasant Chuseok.

Dear 24U! We guess a lot of you got surprised about the last news?

Maybe someone already heard about it but it can be still a news for others.

24K are going to participate in YG Entertainment and JTBC new reality program . We are really sorry to announce about it so late but we have reason for it. We were concerning about it a lot and made a decision in the last moment. Hope you can understand us.

24K got love of 24U from all over the world and planed a lot of overseas activity so maybe not everyone will understand our decision. But 24K staff and 24K members after long discussion decided to join the program to get a recognition and to make Fan dome even stronger. We believe that it will be a great upgrade for 24K. [sic]"

In regards to 24K's world tour, the agency commented, "The producers of 'Mix Nine' are aware of our concerns and agreed to let 24K to promote their international activities (USA tour (19th of October - 24th of October in New York, Dallas, Atlanta and Chicago) and Japan concert (24th of November)." As for Mexico's concert, the event was delayed due to the tragic earthquake in Mexico as Choeun Entertainment promised to let fans know once a new date has been settled.

Lastly, Choeun Entertainment asked fans for their continuous support and to look forward to 24K's appearance on 'Mix Nine'.  "We hope all 24U will support our members and the program."
