On September 20, Busan Yeonje Police Department revealed they've arrested Kim for robbery. According to the police, around 2:35 p.m KST on September 13, Kim stole 116,000 KRW (103 USD) from Park, who collapsed in front of a building from a heart attack. It's revealed Park suddenly collapsed after having several drinks.

Kim, who was walking by, stole money from Park's bag and used Park's cell phone to call 119 (emergency services). Kim then left the scene around the time the police arrived.
After getting caught, Kim explained to the police, "After I stole the money, I found it weird how he was not breathing and called the police. I thought he was okay because they got there after calling 119."
It's additionally revealed that this isn't the first time Kim has done this. Looking at his past records, he was found guilty of stealing about 7,000,000 KRW (6,197 USD) worth of belongings from drunk men over the past 3 years and 8 months.
