G-Friend shared about their new title track ''Summer Rain'' on 'G-Friend Comeback Special Live'. 
The girls made a fast comeback after ''Love Whisper'' with 5th mini repackage album 'Rainbow'.
The new release came near the fall season, however, the title track is titled ''Summer Rain''. Regarding this, G-Friend explained, "Many people are curious as to why the title is 'Summer Rain' when fall is coming."
They continued, "'Summer Rain' is a song looking back at the memories from the summer so it's a perfect song to listen to in autumn."
SinB added, "We prepared the repackage album while in promotions for 'Love Whisper'. We didn't know the album will be released 3 weeks later.'' Yuju also said, "I wanted to talk about it so bad. It was so hard to control myself (from talking about it)."
