Finnish hip hop artist Mc Mane and his group Mansesteri apologized for the similarities between their album cover and the album cover for GOT7's 'Flight Log: Turbulence'.
GOT7 fans brought the alleged plagiarism up on social media, tagging JYP Entertainment and GOT7. Fans are stating the complaints were initially ignored, but after a bit of pressure on Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms, Mc Mane has officially apologized on behalf of Mansesteri.
As you can see below, Mc Mane said they were sorry for the similarities in promotional material and admitted to using GOT7's 'Flight Log: Turbulence' album as reference art. He further stated there was no disrespect meant to the K-pop group and explained they were unable to change Mansesteri's photo on Spotify as of now. He concluded, "We will figure out a way to minimize the (hopefully not too great) damage and angerment of the fans. Please support GOT7 and all good music! This was not our intention, please be patient. <3 - Mansesteri @jypentertainment #got7."
