April's Chaekyung looked back on her difficult trainee past on the September 21st broadcast of SBS Power FM's 'Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time'.
Chaekyung revealed, "I was a trainee for 6 years. I debuted about 4 times, but every time, it fell apart and didn't go well. Each of those times, I went through a rough time, and I gained strength from the unnis and oppas who I trained with. They would listen to me, and that alone would cheer me up."
She continued, "I try to think optimistically. I was working as an intern, and when I joined April, I became a full-time employee."
April recently made their comeback with "Take My Hand".
