According to the producers of the drama, Bomi will be playing a character who goes by the same name as her, Yoon Bomi - a data analyst from an engineering university. They also revealed the reason why she was chosen for the role, "We thought she would fit perfectly with this particular role as she often showed her honest, bright personality on various programs, which aligned well with the character of the drama." This will be her first acting role since her web drama 'Celebrity Detective Sherlock K' back in 2015.
