Sunmi guested on the August 24 broadcast of 'Kangta's Starry Night'. 
DJ Kangta commented, "I heard you were the top sunbae now when you came into the broadcast station." Sunmi replied, "Yeah, I was the top sunbae.'' She added, "But it's cool how I get to call you a sunbaenim. I remember singing along to H.O.T's 'Candy' in kindergarten."
Kangta asked another question, stating, "If you could go back 5 years, what would you tell yourself?"
Sunmi indirectly referred to Wonder Girls' promotions in the United States and answered, "To not to go the United States." She laughed and added, "I'm kidding."
