September 7 in Korea is Community Restoration Day, and a festival will be held in the Metropolitan Seoul area, during which various individuals who contributed to the community will be awarded by the city's mayor. Park Hae Jin is known for doing briquette community service personally with his anti-fans, and even took his previous drama 'Man to Man' cast and staff with him to do briquette and delivery service during filming.
In addition, the star has donated an amount totaling 1,700,000,000 KRW (~ 1,500,00 USD) to rural areas fighting poverty in Seoul, the Sewol Ferry fund, the Children's Restoration Hospital fund, the earthquake relief fund, and more, over the past 6 years since 2011.
