The actor began, "My parents actually own a mak guksu (cold buckwheat noodles) restaurant."

Go Kyung Pyo continued, "My father said, 'We'll never display a photo of you.' He has this great sense of pride when it comes to food. So 'we won't take advantage of your fame, not one bit', he said."

He then described how he saw a photo of Park Bo Gum instead hanging inside the family's restaurant. "After Park Bo Gum visited their restaurant, they put up his photos and not mine," he laughed.

MC Yoo Jae Suk responded, "So your parents kept their promise after all. Not to receive any help from you."

Go Kyung Pyo added, "However since then, the customers started asking, 'Are you Park Bo Gum's parents?' So in order to avoid further misunderstandings, they finally put up photos of me."
