On the July 18th broadcast of 'Cultwo Show', the rapper was asked how his interest in rap and hip hop first started. Zico responded, "In my third year of middle school, I wanted to work on fine art, so I went to study overseas in Japan. I was working on art after school, but I was so bored that I began listening to music. Then one day, I started liking music more than art."
He added, "At the time, I listened to a lot of underground hip hop. I also listened to a lot of Verbal Jint and Supreme Team. That's how my dreams grew, and I came to rap like I am now."
In related news, Zico recently came back with "Anti" and "Artist".
