According to C9 Entertainment, "Juniel will be releasing a new digital single on August 8, which will convey a message of societal issues." It has been a year and a month since the singer released "Pisces", and rather than basing her newest song on sweet romance, she will take another twist and try to communicate the seriousness of societal affairs and dating violence which has been problematic in the media recently.
The singer stated, "Long ago, I had a very dangerous experience while I was dating, and so I want to bring awareness to the kind of issues that can arise as a result of dating someone. I hope I can relay the consequences of harsh abuse within a potential relationship, so that more people can reduce such incidences."
