Hip hop artist Gil has apologized for driving under the influence for the second time.
On July 1, it was reported police caught Gil drunk driving on June 28 at 5AM KST with a blood alcohol level of 0.16%. As soon as the news made headlines, the former Leessang�member apologized on Twitter.
He stated, "A few days ago, I was waiting for a substitute driver to show up after having a drink with friends. While waiting for the substitute driver, I fell asleep in the car," adding, "As I was asleep waiting for the substitute driver, a police officer woke me up to measure my blood alcohol level, and my driver's license was canceled."
As for rumors that he asked the police officer to excuse him, Gil said, "It's not true at all that I asked for him to look the other way." He then apologized, saying, "Even if I receive criticism for my whole life, I have no excuse. I don't even have the right to see my parents, family, friends, or fans."
