On June 2, S.A.L.T Entertainment made an announcement on their official homepage and revealed, "We have spoken with a legal representative and officially started the legal process regarding the sexually assaulting posts, the spread of false information, and malicious comments on Park Shin Hye."

The label also explained that they have been refraining from taking legal action as they believed the various posts were something an actress, who gains much love and attention from the public, must endure. However, they ultimately decided to take action as the degree of assault has gone too far.
Lastly, S.A.L.T Entertainment expressed their desires to aid in creating a healthy internet culture and thanked the fans, stating, "We appreciate the ones who watch over Park Shin Hye and provide advice and criticism for her benefit. Thank you."
