The YG K Plus trainee sat down for an interview with OSEN and shared about his experience on the competition program. Kwon Hyun Bin first said, "I went on 'Produce 101' after receiving an offer without having any basic training in dancing and singing. I just enjoyed rap and music as a hobby but I started dreaming of becoming an idol through 'Produce 101'."

Next, Kwon Hyun Bin was asked about the elimination of Kim Jong Hyun or NU'EST's JR, who was especially more caring and supportive of Kwon Hyun Bin on the show.
Kwon Hyun Bin said, "On the last episode, Jong Hyun hyung kept on smiling as if he's okay. But I could tell that he wasn't on the inside. It was so upsetting."
